What's up Love Tribe! Its been a minute since I shared some creative process juice with you! Life has been wild so many shifts happening right now. I am building and evolving in every direction! One way this upward growth spiral is showing its self is through my music composition and production. Tonight I finished the final mix of a brand new song and I wanted to share it with all ahead of the curve and really bring you into my process! The original version of this song was channeled on the winter solstice/Jupiter Saturn Great Conjunction. That version was whole and complete within itself but I heard potential for deepening. I wanted to add real basslines into the track I just knew it needed and I knew I needed to finally merge my bassist self with my bass music production. I've also been reconnecting deeply with my roots and finally tapping into the genre of music that I have always saw myself creating which is Chicago House! I have always known that this would be the primary way I bring the gospel through when I learned how to do it. Now I am finally here and I am so proud of this creation! The final version of this song is called Dream in Hands and is a deep house track with that Chicago house essence flowing through it. I have both versions tagged in this post.
